There is nothing more enjoyable on a pretty day than enjoying a meal outside with somebody you love. It’s one of my very favorite things to do, whether my husband and I are outside grilling, I am sipping wine on a patio with my sister, or having brunch with friends outdoors. But even more fun is preparing an easy snack or lunch, packing it up with a blanket, and taking it all somewhere special to enjoy a relaxing picnic!

These recipes are easy, delicious, and perfect to enjoy whether you’re out with a special someone, a group of friends, or your kids.

  1. What a fabulous idea for a recipe round-up! We grill a lot & have people over to hang out in our backyard, but it’s been awhile since I’ve been on a picnic. Thanks so much for sharing my Strawberry Basil Lemonade, and for motivating me to go on a picnic with these yummy recipes!

    1. Thanks EA! We grill a lot also and rarely take picnics, but I want to do more of the latter. Would be so much fun for the kids too!

    1. Thanks Laura! And I totally hear you. We’re back to cold and rainy here this week. Definitely not picnic weather :/

  4. Another amazing recipe round up! I always find so many great options, just wish I had time to make them all. I barely have time to make a meal in general some days.

    1. Thanks Sarah! I know the feeling – I wish I could make them all myself too. But when I’m having company it helps with my planning!

  5. OMG, I can’t remember the last time I went on a picnic! This may be the excuse I need … or at least to take one of these beautiful salads down to the pool for some sun at lunch 🙂
