Embrace the versatility of Greek yogurt by learning the numerous possibilities for how to use it in the kitchen.

Enjoy the versatility of Greek yogurt by adding it to baked goods, smoothies, sauces, dips, and more. @jlevinsonrd

I think most of you know by now that I am a big fan of Greek yogurt — it’s a good source of calcium and protein, and it’s lower in sugar than other types of yogurt (especially when you stick to the original). One of the other things I love about Greek yogurt, is its versatility.

The Versatility of Greek Yogurt

Yogurt isn’t just for breakfast or snacks anymore.

Yogurt, pumpkin, and spices come together in this creamy fall-friendly pasta sauce. Use as a stuffing or topping for ravioli or your favorite pasta shape! @jlevinsonRD

  • It can be a sweet dip for fruit…
  • ….or a savory spread for burgers and patties like my Corn Basil Cakes
  • It adds some zing to dressings that top nutritious and delicious salads like my Salmon Waldorf Salad

This Salmon Waldorf Salad combines mixed greens, ruby red beets, crisp fennel and green apple, crunchy pistachios, creamy goat cheese, and heart-healthy salmon with a citrus yogurt vinaigrette. A nutritious and delicious twist on the classic Waldorf salad. @jlevinsonRD

This rich chocolate quick bread studded with sweet pears is easy to make, moist, and delicious. Plus it’s a good source of fiber and calcium. @jlevinsonRD

  • It can be used in place of mayonnaise and sour cream in dips and salads, like my lightened-up version of Esquites (aka Mexican Street Corn Salad).

Esquites (Mexican Street Corn Salad) | This lighter version of a classic Mexican street food is made with low-fat plain yogurt instead of mayonnaise to save on calories without sacrificing flavor. Serve as an appetizer with corn chips or as a side dish for your next Taco Tuesday. Recipe @jlevinsonrd.
